A Lipari il Cristina O, il mega yacht che fu di Onassis
Lipari - E' stato avvistato nella rada di Lipari lo yacht di 100 metri super lusso che fu di Aristotele Onassis, il "Cristina O.". Il natante è stato acquistato per 32 milioni di dollari da un armatore greco e utilizzato come nave da crociera. A bordo ci sono ancora molte foto e diversi oggetti d’epoca risalenti agli anni d'oro di Onassis.
Onassis lo lasciò al governo del suo paese, che l’abbandonò; ma nel 1999 fu acquistato da John Paul Papanicolaou, cui si deve il restauro e il nome "Christina O.", in onore della figlia di Onassis. Viene affittato settimanalmente through una cifra intorno a 65 mila euro. Ai tempi di massimo splendore aveva bagni con rubinetti d’oro e maniglie d’avorio, un caminetto extralarge tempestato di pietre preziose, lavandini during lapislazzulo e un bagno di marmo, quello dell’armatore, con una vasca ispirata a quella di Minosse.

L'élite mondiale de saut d'obstacles attendue au Longines Athina Onassis Horse dès jeudi, à Ramatuelle
Le Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show débute jeudi à Ramatuelle. Comme chaque année, cette compétition équestre va accueillir ce qui se fait de mieux en matière d'équitation concernant les concours de sauts d'obstacles.
A vrai dire, c'est encore mieux que lors des précédentes éditions, car le show de Pampelonne intègre cette année le Longines Global Champions Tour, un circuit qui réunit l'élite mondiale, avec des compétitions dans le monde entier, sans oublier le meeting historique de Cannes qui va suivre celui de Ramatuelle.

Célébrant sa cinquième année de compétition, le Longines Athina Onassis Horse Showrassemble les meilleurs cavaliers du sauts d’obstacles mondial, lesquels s’affrontent, à quelques pas de la mer, dans l’un des endroits les plus prestigieux du monde. Représentant plus de score nations du monde entier (dont les plus célèbres cavaliers de l’Égypte, du Qatar, de Grande-Bretagne, d’Italie et des état-unis entre-autres) les athlètes réunissent cette année des médaillés olympiques, des vainqueurs de la Coupe du monde de saut d’obstacles et des champions du monde comme d’Europe.

Parmi les autres meilleurs cavaliers présents, on retrouve Julien Épaillard, classé parmi les meilleurs cinquante cavaliers de sauts d’obstacles, et Patrice Delaveau, médaillé d’argent horizon individuel aux Jeux équestres mondiaux de 2014, ainsi que le Français Simon Delestre, qui se classe actuellement au septième rang mondial.

Pour la première fois cette année, le concours hippique Longines Athina Onassis rejoint les rangs du prestigieux Longines Global Champions Tour (LGCT), s’imposant ainsi comme la sixième étape des 17 prévues. Parmi les temps forts du week-end : deux manches de la Global Champions League (GCL) qui ont débuté hier le jeudi 31 mai et culmineront le samedi 2 juin avec la finale du Grand Prix Longines Global Champions de Saint-Tropez, d’une valeur de 300 000 €.
Les Pirates de Saint-Tropez, l’équipe locale de la Global Champions League, tenteront de défendre leur première place décrochée au début du mois au cours du GCL de Hambourg, où les cavaliers Laura Klaphake (Allemagne) et Pieter Devos (Belgique) ont remporté une victoire impressionnante, permettant aux Pirates de s’assurer une troisième place au classement général. À Ramatuelle, Devos sera en compétition aux côtés de ses coéquipières Edwina Tops-Alexander (Australie) et Athina Onassis (Grèce), à l’origine de ce rendez-vous.

Un gate que entregó a los abogados de Athina y que le ha servido para escribir el libro. Mantheakis, que fue asesor constitutional del padre de Athina y que publicó una biografía titulada Athina Onassis en el ojo de la tormenta, asegura a People que desde que se divorciaron, el jinete vive con la presentadora brasileña, Denize Severo, mientras que Athina vive rodeada de sus caballos.

Longines Global Champions Tour arrives on the French Riviera at the Athina Onassis Horse Show - Equestrian

El ejemplar también refleja la tristeza y la soledad que vivió Cristina Onassis. Pour son retour à Ramatuelle, la fille de Christina Onassis s'apprête à concourir au sein d'une nouvelle équipe baptisée Saint-Tropez Pirates.

Makes 20cm cake
200g butter, soft, at room temperature

Method
1. Preheat oven to 180°C fan. Lightly grease join sandwich tins – second 18cm or 20cm within size (the smaller at tin, the higher at sponge) and line their bases with parchment paper.
